20,000, is that all. We’d take that to fucking Kidderminster. Can’t stand Frankfurt, spent years in Germany back in the 70’s and 80’s and their fans were proper cunts. I so want us to win this game.

The Germans have history of wading through Europe until of course the British have their say.

Watched a thing on YouTube where a Rangers fan said if they make the final they’ll be 100/150 THOUSAND travelling to Seville the fucking cretin.

Hope they all take plenty of factor 50 sun block the ginger scruffy cunts.

Caller on talkpsort said similar, all he could go on about was wanting to play West Ham in the final and not to underestimate Rangers and how they would destroy West Ham, seemed to forget they have Leipzig to get past first the silly cunt!

Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
We’ll raise em 200,000 if they do.
They won’t get nowhere near Glasgae airport cos other krauts will do a job on em.
Stupid sweaty retard.

Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
Rangers would take a huge amount of fans there, they've got to the semi on merit and they've already beaten Dortmund a final against them won't be at all easy.

Would be absolute carnage in Seville

I went to Frankfurt in '76 and when Paddon scored all eight of us jumped up in the Frankfurt end and believe me they were dumbfounded that anyone had the cheek to go and sit in their end.
Never had any bother great old days.

Remember there being a great quote I think on YouTube a few years back when cologne took thousands to arsenal and basically took the piss .
Something along the lines of the Germans tried for two years to get the better of the east end and failed, but they've taken over north London in twenty minutes

Just shows what cunts Barcelona supporters are, flogging their tickets to the Germans.

Fortunately there's no chance of them pulling that kind of stunt in Stratford.

30,000 now being reported in most of the rags

Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
Yes, over 30,000 maybe? and Barcelona cheif says he was ashamed by what he saw, but fair play to the Frankfurt fans following their team, and just shows what a fickle bunch the Barca fans are flogging thier tickets, most not happy being in the Europa anyway, We "deserve" better many said.

https://www.espn.com/soccer/barcelona-espbarcelona/story/4643129/ashamed-barcelona-president-announces-ticket-policy-change-after-frankfurt-fans-flood-camp-nou

A source close to the dressing room told ESPN the Barca players were "shocked" by what they saw when they went out to warm up, with thousands of Frankfurt fans jeering them and creating a hostile environment in their own ground.

I know it's frowned upon to talk about the final on here, but IF, i did say IF, we got there i wonder how many Irons would make a beeline for Seville? I reckon 20k+?

Norman 9:45 Sat Apr 16
Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
Yes as said Cologne took about 15k or so to Arsenal and all got in the stadium. Arsenal fans sold them their tickets. Basically had the away end and thousands above it in cooperate and in upper tier. The German fans come across very arrogant. If we had of done it we would probably be kicked out of Europe

Norman 9:46 Sat Apr 16
Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
42k for final. What will the allocation be for us 7 or 8k max I reckon

Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
If the Mirror says it was 30,000 fans, you could bet your bottom dollar it was more like 15,000 or 20,000.

This is known on Fleet Street as the Tabloid Index.

Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
On a tangent, was out drinking with a couple of journo mates last night. Good blokes, but complete fairweather fans when it comes to football. Always have been.

After I'd banged on about West Ham for far too long, one asked: "So who do you want to win out of Man City and Liverpool?"

I replied honestly: "Couldn't give a fuck. I've never given a shit about ANY other English football club. I love football, but couldn't care less what happens in football, with the exception of always wanting Tottenham, Millwall and Chelsea to lose."

They were completely taken aback by this and thought we should all have a view on who we wanted to win the Premier League etc.

Still can't get my head around these Euro 96ers, I'm afraid. Too many of them seem to have some sort of pecking order of who or what is acceptable. One even said that he has a 1-to-6 pecking order of the "Big Sides" with Liverpool at the top.

If he wasn't quite such a mate in my professional life, I'd have got the barman to ban him from the pub.

Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
We’ll still more than match the krauts, by hook or by crook. Even though the greedy airline tossers ave tripled the fares AGAIN for the football.
Sbbb, yeh, exactly, we let others worry about us.
That geezer sounds like a right fair, level headed, bundle of laughs.

Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
Barca deserve that their home support was diluted. Barca have built up their sales on fooball tourism. They have kept season ticket prices reasonable, but sales of other tickets and season seats not used are expensive and aimed at tourists that want to include a game at the Camp Nou as part of their weekend in Barcelona. Barca should get used to it and the West Ham and the OS would do well not to follow the same model.
Fair play to Frankfurt, shame we won't get the chance to do the same in the Camp Nou. Maybe we can next year in the Campions League?

I've always wanted to go to Sevilla, a nice cheeky little package tour week of final..

If we're there a massive bonus, if not still a great holiday

Re: Frankfurt had 20,000 in the Nou Camp
fraser - I went for the first time in june 2016 during the Euro's, as I wanted to go as well, it didn't disappoint. Hottest city in Europe by all accounts in the summer months, an oven. Cordoba just a little north is also meant to be stunning, as is Cadiz a little South.

Will you definitely go if we make it, or just a 'maybe' right now?
